In this week’s Self Expression Springboard, Danette discusses the various masks we might put on in our lives & what purpose they serve – are they flirty? Are they devilish? (Note: the photo accompanying this post isn’t a representation of what I think my mask is.) Well, I think my mask is –
I think a mask can be a tool is helping in the establishment of boundaries. A confident mask will cue others in to your sustainability. An abrupt cool mask might help drive off unwanted attention. A cleansing facial scrub mask will make you feel pampered. It is easy to fall into the habit of wearing one all the time, but sometimes it is nice to go outside with a freshly scrubbed face & step into the world head-on. Take a deep breath & go.

“Take a deep breath and go.” I love how freeing that sounds. As I read I felt my skin tingle with a cool, eucalyptus breeze. 🙂
I love it!
