Milan was our first stop in Italy this past fall. Not long after our red-eye flight landed, we made it to our fantastic AirBNB on the Navigli, in the center of Milan.
After taking a quick nap, we regrouped and hit the streets to explore.
I was quite taken with a lot of the street murals and graffiti, but the colourful chameleon was my favourite. What a beautiful use of colour.
Duomo di Milano was breath-taking. What a perfect way to indoctrinate us into the wonders of architecture we would continue to see throughout the trip. This Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the 5th largest cathedral in the world and the largest in Italy (Remember St. Peter’s is technically in Vatican City).
I love this! You have to post more so we know where to go and eat and stuff when we go!
I will give you any knowledge I can, for sure.
